In honor of being married for 4 whole months I decided to finally drop off our disposable camera and get our pictures back from our trip to Sandals ! We brought our digital camera, but when we got there the stupid thing wouldn’t turn on, and the battery refused to charge. We tried to find a shop that had Casio batteries, but NOBODY did! Cannon, Nikon, Sony… but not casio. So we bit the bullet and spent $17 on a throw away camera. With only 24 exposures to work with, we did get a couple of cute ones! And kudos to uncle kim and mary for buying us an amazing digital video camera that we took with us. As soon as i figure out You Tube I’ll have some Atlantis footage to share.
*Note to self – never go on the trip of a lifetime without a spare… of everything!
Anyway, the bahamas were wonderful. Sandals was amazing. And we had the best time!
This is one of our dinners out… probably the best of the week. I had YUMMY prime rib, and you can see the scrumptious dessert in the photo.
Yes, my love of Starbucks even followed me to the Bahamas. And Jeffrey was kind enough to put up with it, twice!
This was from our only meal outside of Sandals. My uncle Kim and Mary had suggested going there – and they were right on! Great conch and shrimp! If you ever go to the bahamas, you must stop by this place! (They even do free appitizers at the bar if you go at the right time)
This shot was taken during champagne at sunset. I do think there are few things better in this world than sunsets, pretty blue oceans, and champagne.
And to close out our honeymoon… a shot of Jeffrey with his broken wedding ring. It only took him a whopping 4 days of marriage to crack his band straight thru. Rubin Brothers replaced it…
