While I will miss the hot, very hot sweaty humid summer days… College football GAMEDAY is totally worth the sacrifice.
I used to love summers a lot more than I do now. Mostly b/c this summer we only found ourselves at the pool a handful of days – and what is heat and humidity for if you’re not laying by a pool? So here comes fall in all its color-changing glory and I couldn’t be more excited!
Saturday afternoon we’ve got GSU taking on the Dawgs at UGAy’s stadium. While the forcasts are not good… Jeffrey and I stand true to our team and will hopefully be at the Jocks and Jill’s in Canton with other fellow alum cheering “Blue and White FIGHT FIGHT!” We’re excited for the Hatch Attack to continue.
Saturday night will begin a new era for Cornhuskers as Bo Pelini puts on his red and white, delivers a motivating speech to fire up blackshirts and company, and takes his first tunnel walk into a sea of red as Nebraska’s new, welcomed head coach. There is a lot of hype – and we’re all hoping that he can live up to it and put together a fantastic, unbelievable 2008 season! Granted NU will be taking on Western Michigan, but I guarantee you there will be 83,000+ in house to witness what will hopefully be the beginning of another Husker Dominated era.
