she’s going to ask for a whole new bathroom to go with it.
When you give a girl a new toilet (b/c her 1964 one finally gave up on taking care of business and husband tried to ressurect it, but couldn’t because the parts are so old they dont make them the same way anymore) she’s probably going to say to her boy, “Maybe when we pull up the toilet we should just do the floor and shower tiling before we put the new toilet down.”
That makes sense. Then boy realizes that if they’re going to put down new tile they should probably rip up the wall to wall vanity because it’s not really their style (did you know that glitter counter tops from 1964 will rust? Yeah, it’s a thing of beauty).
Then girl gets on board and takes it one further, hmmm… maybe 2 freestanding vanities would be nice since there are technically 2 bedrooms using the one bathroom. Then boy and girl realize this means a new outlet and plumbing for vanity number two. And everyone, including boy and girl know, when you go from one vanity to two, you also need some new lighting and mirrors.
So, next time you give a girl a toilet, just know that she’s probably going to want a whole new bathroom to go with it.
